As a distance learning college, all our courses are fully online, and are designed to provide both theological learning and spiritual development.
We welcome learners of all denominations and backgrounds and our courses cater for many levels of interest and academic pursuit.
We have four university accredited programmes for those pursuing a formal qualification. Your qualification, from St Patricks Pontifical University Maynooth, will be recognised worldwide.
For those looking for an introduction to spirituality or wishing to strengthen their spirituality through a deeper understanding of Carmelite history and tradition we have our Discovering Carmel suite of modules. These can also be studied as part of a formation programme within a Carmelite Community.

FOR ONE OF OUR COURSES
Auditing a Module
Students who would like to take a module to explore a subject out personal, academic or spiritual interest, rather than for academic credit, may choose to audit the module. This allows students to engage with and reflect on the course material without the requirement to complete assignments or assessments.
This option offers a flexible way to explore new subjects, deepen knowledge in an area of interest, enhance spiritual development, support life-long learning or experience university-level learning without the pressure of graded coursework. Auditing can also help students determine whether they would like to pursue further study in Carmelite Spirituality and/or Theology.
Please note that audited modules do not carry academic credit, and no grade or award is issued upon completion.
